The waffle-weave towel is the perfect hair towel because of its size and texture. The softest, most absorbent towel you can find.

It is narrower than our other Turkish towels but (in terms of absorbency) what it lacks in surface it makes up for in its waffley texture and softness.

It's the only solid color towel we make. This newest batch was made in December 2021, and the color might differ from previous ones.
What it's made of

100% long staple cotton. Vegan and naturally hypoallergenic.

Our Mauna, Kai, Sky, and Terra are a 85% cotton - 15% linen blend.

How it's made

Our towels are loomed in Turkey, in Derya's hometown close to Izmir, by local artisans that follow the authentic traditional technique.

We design all our textile patterns ourselves, and we work with our makers directly to ensure that we use only the best quality long-staple cotton and linen in our fabrics.

Fringes are tied by hand one by one. The dyes we use for our threads are all OEKO-TEX certified for chemical safety.
The size

Striped Turkish towels measure 76"x37" excluding the fringe.

Waffle weave towels are smaller at 72"x28" excluding the fringe.

Hand or Kitchen towels are 37"x18" and don't have a fringe.
Care

Machine wash warm or cold with similar colors. We recommend not using fabric softener in your wash. Fabric softener smells great but actually coats the fibers making them less absorbent. No bleach and try not to mix the wash with items that have zippers or hooks as they might get tangled in the fringes.

Seems to be nice quality and well-made

I purchased two regular towels and one waffle-weave towel. The waffle-weave towel feels plusher and softer than the regular towels. The regular towels fold up very small, which is perfect if you anticipate traveling with it. The waffle-weave towel also folds up smaller than a conventional bath towel, but not as compact as the regular Turkish towel. Both types of towels are very absorbent and dry quickly, although the regular towels seem to dry faster. I soaked my towels in cold water overnight before using them, and there didn't seem to be much dye leaking from even the bright coral towels.
I also had a very nice exchange with someone from the company who reached out to make sure I knew that they were expecting shipping delays.
I would definitely buy these towels from this company again.
